Sammy Guevara, the former TNT champion, was able to finally defeat Cody Rhodes, a man that has held two victories in the past. The fight was a ladder match with two belts hanging higher than I’ve ever seen anything hang in the world of pro wrestling.
The match was brutal. Rhodes suplexed Guevara from the top of a giant ladder to the mat and then threw him into another ladder. This was both men giving their all and taking all sorts of risks. It easily made its way into the ranks of best ladder matches, which is what Cody Rhodes does.
The ending of the match saw Rhodes getting knocked out and Guevara making his way up the tall ladder to grab the belts and become a 2-time TNT champion. It was about as entertaining as it gets.
