Sad news came today that former multiple time tag team champion, Animal, of the Road Warriors/Legion of Doom, has passed away. The Road Warriors made tag team wrestling a main event thing and changed the game with their aggressive style. They would dominate the AWA, WCW and then the WWE, taking titles in each of them.
Hawk of the Road Warriors passed first with a troubled past and Animal always seemed to be the one that had it all together. When Hawk would exit the company, Animal would do what he could to get others over, often tagging up with other partners.
The wrestling world says goodbye to Animal. He was a great entertainer.
