Private Party VS Best Friends Buy In – AEW DOUBLE OR NOTHING RESULTS & REVIEW – Pro Wrestling News

The AEW PPV “DOUBLE OR NOTHING” begins with a promo with Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Lance Archer in a rundown house.  Archer is having a good time with a sledgehammer, destroying things as Jake enjoys the spectacle.  He is ready for Cody Rhodes tonight.

Private Party comes down to the ring, followed by the #1 contender for the AEW tag team title, the Best Friends.  As always, Private Party bring their high-flying approach to the match while Best Friends are more methodical and work at a slower rate.

During a DDT attempt, Trent of Best Friends looked like he injured his knee when he landed wrong.    Trent fought through it, but it’s obvious that he did something to it.

A great double team superplex from the top rope from Best Friends lead to a near fall.  Seems like Trent has recovered and is starting to use his legs again.  Trent and the members of Private Party are just a little off.  They keep missing the mark here and there.  They recovered and continue on.

The Best Friends land their finisher in a very routine match.  Both teams are good, but this is exactly what we expected.
