Aaron Crocker’s POISON TREE is coming Tubi and is making quite the name for itself on the festival circuit, becoming a semi-finalist at the Music Movies Mic Drop Festival and taking home an Official Selection nod at the Mightier Than The Sword at Sunset Film Festival 2025.
The film stars Matthew Sharpe (BLOODY SUMMER CAMP) as Adam and Whitney Richardson (SKYNET) in the lead roles of Adam and Nicole. Crocker noted that “many films seek to serve as an escape for viewers while POISON TREE focused in realism and bordering on magical realism, aiming to accomplish just the opposite by playing a game that traps viewers into an observational role.”
POISON TREE is distributed by Cinema Epoch and the TUBI release is highly anticipated. Rob Roy stepped in as Cinematographer and focused on bringing a specific approach to the film with Crocker getting his hands dirty with the set design and look of the film. Kemma Selby, the Executive Producer, also served as PA and wardrobe.
