SUPERNATURAL: THE COMPLETE 14TH SEASON is being released on Blu-Ray and DVD on September 10th from Warner Bros., and the show goes on in the same stylish and compelling direction.
Dean (Jensen Ackles) is still carrying around Michael within, creating a lot of drama as Sam (Jared Padalecki), his brother and Castiel (Misha Collins), his best friend, try to get him back and away from the force controlling him. The difference in the approach to the character by Ackles is very interesting and adds some new dimensions to the show and it feels new as we are in the 14th season.
Michael continues to use Dean to create more evil and make the monsters immune to the normal methods of death. Eventually Michael is driven out and it’s back to the old ways as Dean and Sam along with Castiel try to stop the evil and make the universe right again.
We see a lot of surprises along the way, including the return of Lucifer and some divine intervention in the end. Overall, the 14th season hasn’t lost any steam and it brings the same elements that made the series so enjoyable. It’s interesting to see how they keep re-inventing and how they keep the show fresh. I really enjoyed this and if you liked the show so far, this is going to a very fun watch. I highly recommend it.
