It’s a hard knocks life for convict Sonny. First he is sent to prison unfairly for six years and is being moved to a Super-max facility. While at a restaurant for a lunch break during his transport between jails he makes his escape. He meets up with slimy newspaper writer Ross Conrad. The unlikely duo team up to transport a sword known as “The Sword of Destiny” to what is known as “The Order” for safekeeping. The sword is allegedly forged from the very spear that was used to puncture Jesus on the cross. It gives amazing powers to who ever holds it.

Sonny and Ross have to take on Mr. Park, the man who runs all crime in the city. Mr. Park wants the sword and is willing to do anything to get it, including tempting Sonny with beautiful women…remember, Sonny has been in prison for six years so he’s been mostly with men as of late… well we can assume so anyway. Sonny is weak when it comes to the ladies but still manages to fight them off at the appropriate moments, such as just before they are about to kill him.

Will Sonny safely deliver the sword? Will Mr. Park continue as crime-lord in the city? Will Sonny get together with the gorgeous blonde killer and get himself a piece of………..assassin? You’ll have to find out for yourself by watching “Order of One”.

I’m not a huge fan of the Kung Fu genera but I really like what these folks did. The story, in my opinion is pretty weak, but you can just tell these people made this movie with lots of heart and a ton of passion. It’s got some pretty cool special effects, a bunch of great stunts and some well choreographed car chase scenes. It’s a tribute to those 70s and 80’s Kung Fu movies, and if you like those, you’ll really enjoy this one.

Scared Stiff Rating: 5/10…. “Everybody was Kung Fu fighting!”…
