When Matt Sydal debuted in AEW during a battle royal, it didn’t go well. His leap from the top rope became a dangerous slip, but he’s planning on erasing that image with his future performances, starting with his match against Shawn Spears.
Spears is represented by Tully Blanchard and that ups his stock. Considering that FTR captured the tag team title recently and the constant Four Horseman group talk, Spears is easily a third member and that should help out his career. Spears will have his hands full in this match and it’s pretty tough to pick a winner. Sydal will probably win because they would not have brought him in to lose so quickly, but it might by DQ or count out.
