Eight-division world champion and Senator Manny Pacquiao shows his commitment to giving back to the Philippine people in this exclusive clip from Episode 1 of ALL ACCESS: PACQUIAO VS. BRONER. The three-part documentary series premieres this Friday at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME and chronicles the buildup to Pacquiao’s first fight in the United States in more than two years.

“Giving back is so important because I’ve been there,” Pacquiao explains of his tradition of donating money to his fellow-Filipinos before morning runs through the streets of Manila. “I feel what they feel. Whatever success I accomplish and how much money I earn, I will never forget that feeling.

“I’ve been doing everything that we can do to help the poor people. I share with them what I receive from God. I give them shelter, give them free education. I have a chance to help the people and I have a chance to make them happy. You cannot solve all of the problems here in the Philippines, but at least there’s a reduction of less fortunate families. And that’s my goal.”

ALL ACCESS crews were embedded in the Philippines with Pacquiao before he departed to resume training camp in Los Angeles for his January 19 welterweight title defense against Adrien Broner on SHOWTIME PPV®. Episode two of ALL ACCESS: PACQUIAO VS. BRONER will premiere next Friday, January 11 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, followed by daily digital features during fight week on the SHOWTIME Sports YouTube channel and SHOWTIME Boxing Facebook page.

Pacquiao vs. Broner is promoted by MP Promotions, Mayweather Promotions, TGB Promotions in association with About Billions Promotions. The event is produced and distributed by SHOWTIME PPV® from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
