Manny Pacquiao, 60-7-2, 39 KO’s, is close to sealing the deal with Adrien Broner, 33-3-1, 24 KO’s, in a high stake showdown that could lead to big money for the PacMan if he can come out with a victory. Broner has had a disappointing career after being deemed the next Floyd Mayweather, JR. Marcos Maidana sent home a message that he may not be the man that so many thought he was and then Shawn Porter and Mikey Garcia sent Broner’s career into a huge tailspin. He needs Pacquiao but can he take advantage of it?
Pacquiao, even at this advanced age, has incredible skill and still throws a lot of punches and that is the key to beating Broner. Every defeat on the Broner ledger has been due to a high volume fighter and he will have to figure out how to cope with that because the Pacman will try to follow the blueprint that is already there.
