2012 Heavyweight Bronze Medalist, Mahammadrasul “Mago” Majidov, 3-0, 3 KO’s, hunted down the much heavier Sahret Delgado, 8-1, 7 KO’s, eventually catching him in the third round to get the stoppage win.
In the first round, Rosado was hit by a right hand that seemed to knock him out but he came right back into consciousness and made it out of the round. In round 2, Mago continued the attack against Rosado. Rosado kept the high guard up and tried landing the left hook on Mago coming in, but it didn’t happen.
In the third round, Mago landed another right hand that prompted the referee to stop the fight. Delgado looked in bad shape after the fight, unable to stand. It was pretty scary. Delgado was badly out of shape at 291 pounds and hadn’t fought in three years.
