On May 31st, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases LUCIFER: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON on Blu-ray and DVD, featuring 16 episodes and some great bonus material that any fan of the show will appreciate.
Season 5 picks up right where the last season left off with Lucifer ruling hell. Issues arise as Lucifer’s twin brother comes into play and the focus comes back to Earth and the relationship between Lucifer and Chloe as they finally really admit how they feel about each other. That relationship begins to really flourish and is very interesting how it plays out.
Relations are well played in this but the highlight of this season by far is the showdowns between Lucifer and Michael. That is what sells this season. Michael proves to be a great addition to the show and shoots some life into the show and makes it feel fresh. I really enjoyed the relationship.
LUCIFER: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON maintains the quality of the series and is a lot of fun. The presentation on Blu-ray is tremendous and the bonus material is interesting and worth your time. I recommend it.
