RODRIGUEZ live from Denver on Saturday, Nov. 10 on FS1 and the FOX Sports app. UFC flyweight contender Brandon Moreno and Victor Davila call the fights in Spanish on FOX Deportes.
In 1993, a revolution was born in Denver, Colorado. On November 10, 2018, UFC will celebrate its 25th anniversary in the city where it all began with a night to remember. Featherweight contenders collide in the main event as former title contender and current No. 10-ranked “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung (14-4) faces one of the sport’s most exciting athletes in Mexican star and No. 15 Yair Rodriguez (11-2). Plus, welterweight stars go toe-to-toe as Denver’s own Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone returns home to face knock-out artist “Platinum” Mike Perry.
FOX Sports UFC programming begins Wednesday, Nov. 7 with UFC TONIGHT at 8:00 PM ET on FS2, when host Kenny Florian and guest host Michael Bisping preview the upcoming FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT and interview headliner Rodriguez, as well as “Cowboy” and Perry, who talk about their co-main event.
The weekend’s coverage kicks off Friday, Nov. 9 with the UFC FIGHT NIGHT WEIGH-IN SHOW on FS1 and streaming on the FOX Sports app at 7:00 PM ET, with Evans, Smith and Bryant on the desk, previewing the fights. Sanko interviews fighters onsite.
Action continues Saturday at 7:00 PM ET on FS1 and the FOX Sports app with the UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT SHOW, as the same desk crew breaks down the upcoming battles. The UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS, begin at 8:00 PM ET on FS1, FOX Deportes and the FOX Sports app, with Fitzgerald and Felder calling the four exciting fights. Ashley Yoder (5-4) takes on Amanda Cooper (4-4) in a strawweight bout, while Chas Skelly (17-2) and Bobby Moffett (12-3) square off in a featherweight clash. Lightweights Davi Ramos (8-2) and John Gunther (7-1) face off, while Devonte Smith (8-1) and Julian Erosa (22-6) open the PRELIMS with another 155-pound battle.
The main card continues at 10:00 PM ET on FS1 and FOX Deportes, featuring six more thrilling bouts, including the headliner between The Korean Zombie and Rodriguez. No. 12-ranked welterweight Cerrone (33-11, 1NC) faces Perry (12-3). No. 4 bantamweight Raquel Pennington (9-7) takes on No. 5 Germaine de Randamie (7-3). Beneil Dariush (14-4-1) faces Thiago Moises (10-2) in a lightweight bout, while Maycee Barber (4-0) and Hannah Cifers (8-2) battle at 115 pounds. Michael Trizano (8-0) and Luis Pena (5-0) begin the main card with an exciting lightweight scrap.
