Jurassic World MOVIE TRAILER REVIEW, Sneak Peek – Dinosaurs Gone Wild, Steven Spielberg & More

In 1993, JURASSIC PARK was released and became an instant classic. I remember going to see it in the packed cinema and these were back in the days when they actually had ushers. You don’t see ushers anymore. I think that they stopped having them because they were getting beaten and killed by angry movie-goers. The answer was never to get rid of ushers. The answer was to employ tougher ushers or get extra ushers. Stand by ushers that will be ready to work when the one on duty is driven away in an ambulance.

JURASSIC PARK was more than a film. It’s one of the few movies that I consider an event. CGI was in its infancy, but yet, in 1993, the film looked amazing and better than much of what you even see today. The experience was new and exciting and it was no shocker that they did a couple of follow ups. In 1997, THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK was released and it failed to impress, but that didn’t stop them from trying again in 2001 with JURASSIC PARK III. That one made the second look like a classic. It appeared to be a money-grab only. The love was gone and the fans of the original were pissed off. I know, because I was pissed off. I was one of the idiots that went to the movies to see the third film and walked away feeling ripped off. First they fucked me on the popcorn and soda and then I sat through that shit? Ridiculous.

In June of 2015, I will put money down again to see JURASSIC WORLD and it may just be a case of my inability to learn. Then again, I’ve paid to see the other three and I am a creature of habit. The trailer was just released and it looked awesome. The park is open to the public now and they have solved all the problems, properly containing the dinosaurs and even making these ball things that the people ride in that can’t be squashed by the heavy feet of the largest dinosaurs. But, there is a problem. The evil hand of man has played god and created a hybrid dinosaur that is forty feet tall and aggressive.

The park is loaded with people and the look of the park is amazing. It really has captured the feel of the first while feeling new at the same time. The two follow ups were rather dark and dreary without much direction. This one is a disaster movie with plenty of potential victims and the scariest part is that this could really happen. I think it could happen. If they can recreate dinosaurs it could really happen and I bet they will eventually be able to. Remember when they found that frozen wooly mammoth? They still have it on ice and they’ll bring it back and the T Rex will be right around the corner.

The JURASSIC WORLD trailer gives us a glimpse into the chaos. It shows how the park will work as an attraction for the public, but then shows how things can go terribly wrong. They didn’t listen to Dr. Ian Malcolm. He was right. It’s not a good idea to make a dinosaur park.

JURASSIC WORLD looks great. They have big shoes to fill if you’re comparing it to the 1993 classic, but if you’re only comparing it to the two follow-ups, it’s already beaten them. You can’t be disappointed. So, this is a winner. JURASSIC WORLD looks like the real deal.
