Lightweight Jorge Linares, 47-5, 29 KO’s, stalked and destroyed Carlos Morales, 19-5-4, 8 KO’s, in four rounds. From the opening bell, Linares started cutting off the ring and trapping Morales in corners and against the ropes and began looking for shots to land.
After winning the first two rounds, Linares found his right hand and dropped Morales hard in round three from a big right hand, late in the round. In round four, Linares finished what he started and landed another huge right hand that put Morales down and out and done for the night. It was a good fight for Linares, but the competition was less than fantastic.
