It’s on. Jon Moxley is defending his world title against the #1 contender, Kenny Omega, and there is plenty of bad blood. The two are immediately trading chops and everything is high impact offense. It’s exactly what you’d think it’d be here with this intense main event.
The match goes to outside of the ring and Omega is fighting Moxley’s fight, but winning at it. He is trying to do as much damage as he can to the champion, but this is the champion’s game. Omega is focusing on the leg of Moxley and doing some serious damage. Omega is controlling the majority of the early goings on in this match.
Moxley lands the Paradigm Shift! He’s not covering. Moxley is looking to inflict more damage. He is throwing in steel chairs. He is not happy and wants revenge for the assault that happened before the contract signing.
Omega hits the V Trigger and Snap Dragon Suplex. This is high drama on Dynamite! A second Paradigm Shift and Omega kicked out. Moxley does a flying dive and gets hit with another V Trigger. Can Omega win the title?!
Omega is making the most of it with knee drives to the face of Omega, but Moxley is fighting back. This is a brutally even match. Omega is hitting everything but he cannot put the champion away for the 3 count.
Moxley lands a Paradigm Shift on the outside of the ring and the doctor is checking on Omega. We have 5 minutes left in the show! What is going to happen here? Moxley rolls Omega into the ring. Omega grabs the microphone and hits Moxley with it. He is busted open. V Trigger after V Trigger after V Trigger. Omega is destroying Moxley. One-Winged Angel for the 3 count and we have a new champion!
Kenny Omega has won the AEW Championship after Moxley’s incredible run. Don Callis interfered in this an noted that he will make a statement on Impact. What the hell is going on?
