This is it.  This is the match we’ve been waiting for.  Moxley has defeated other big men like Brodie Lee and Jake Hager and now must face another.  The former Impact star, Brian Cage with Taz in his corner, is the next challenger.   This will be a brutal encounter.

Cage attacks immediately and his power is a big factor right away.  He is landing clothesline after clothesline on the defending champion.  Moxley is having issues early on, but he picks up the pace and starts doing some damage on the challenger.  He is going after the left arm of Cage, which was repaired surgically recently.

Moxley is doing really well as he works on the arm.  In recent weeks, Cage has destroyed a bunch of jobbers.  This is a big step up in opposition for him and it shows.  This is not a dominant performance.  This is a war.

Cage lands a belly to back suplex onto the railing and takes the momentum back.   Cage is dominating and puts Cage in a torture rack into a huge slam for a near fall.  Every move that Cage is using it meant to wear down the champion.

Moxley is having a hard time getting any momentum.   Everything he’s trying is getting reversed by the stronger man.  Cage does a great top rope moonsault but misses and hurts his knee, giving Moxley the edge he needed.

Moxley lands the Paradigm Shift but he kicks out at 2!  Moxley is frustrated and puts a superplex on Cage into an arm bar.   Cage gets up and turns it into a buckle bomb.  This is an amazing match.

Cage went for the drill claw but gets countered into an arm bar again!  Taz throws in the towel to save the arm of his man and Moxley holds onto the title.  Cage attacks Moxley after the match and Darby Allin arrives to attack Cage!
