We begin with a promo for the Cody Rhodes-Lance Archer TNT title match that is happening this Saturday at DOUBLE OR NOTHING.  The Stadium Stampede match is discussed as well as the title match between Jon Moxley and Brodie Lee.

The Inner Circle arrive in a limo and are just hilarious as they insult the poor guy interviewing them.  Has there ever been a better and funnier group of heels in pro wrestling?  I’m already loving the show and it’s only been on for 2 minutes.

We begin with “10” of the Dark Order, escorted by Brodie Lee, going against the heavyweight champion, Jon Moxley.  I miss Evil Uno! Where’s he been?  Brodie Lee makes a statement but has to deal with the heckling from the AEW good guys in the front row.   It’s pretty funny and credit to Lee for keeping it together with the heckling going on.

Lee bestows 10 with the title of “high knight of the Dark Order” and instructs him to go and kick Moxley’s ass.   Moxley comes out quickly and sets the tone with a flying knee to 10.  I keep waiting for JR to say “business is about to pick up” when Moxley comes out.  It just has a Stone Cold feel to it.

After a rocky start, 10 gets some momentum, landing the pump kick to launch the champion out of the ring.  I have to give 10 credit.  He knows how to put on a show.  His facial expressions come through the mask and it’s quite amusing.

Moxley lands his DDT and then lands a pile driver right after.   He yells “is this your special boy” and lands the DDT again for the 1-2-3.  Moxley had little trouble with 10 but he won’t have it as easy on Saturday at DOUBLE OR NOTHING with Brodie Lee.

After the match, Moxley grabs the microphone.   He then put 10’s arm into a steel chair, wedging it and prepping to break it.   He gives Lee 10 seconds to come out and return his belt or he will break his arm.   Lee responds on the big screen and he cuts a killer promo.  He said that he believes in sacrifices, leading to Moxley breaking 10’s arm.  I cannot wait for this title match on Saturday night.

MJF (With Wardlow) VS Marko Stunt (With Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) : AEW Dynamite (5/20) RESULTS & REVIEW – Pro Wrestling News

By Geno McGahee I’m not a fan of Marko Stunt, but he can do well at times with his promos. MJF starts the match by slamming Stunt hard immediately.  He is just playing with the much smaller Stunt, as he tosses him around the ring like a ragdoll. MJF is […]
