Kenny Omega comes to the ring and has the hot chicks with the brooms, representing his “cleaner” nickname. Omega comes out in a suit and is trying to realize his initial goals coming into AEW. He believes he was supposed to be the champion and it didn’t work out that way. He spent a great part of his time in tag team action, holding the belts with Hangman Page.
Moxley has been attacked backstage and is unresponsive. Somebody attacked Moxley! Omega is not happy and signs the contract and implies that the champion is avoiding the match. He will take on Moxley in 2 weeks and we now have a mystery. Could it have been Hangman Page that went after Moxley? Could it be the Black Scorpion back after all these years? I hope so. I miss the Black Scorpion.
We go back to the Inner Circle in Vegas. They are all drunk and hanging with an Elvis Impersonator. They do a shout out to THE HANGOVER and Elvis even says “don’t get all shook up Sammy.” It’s pretty amusing stuff here.
Jericho wakes up next to Elvis in a trashed hotel room. MJF wakes up in the bathtub. Sammy wakes up in a fountain and apparently got married three times. Ortiz is super high. Santana is feeding chickens. Everyone partied too much for sure. As a huge fan of THE HANGOVER, I have to give them props.
