With the upcoming release of writer, director, actor, and reviewer John Fallon’s “The Shelter”, people are talking again about the depth of the film’s story and the solid performance of veteran actor Michael Paré. The innocent title doesn’t fully lend to the powerful redemption/condemnation arc that fuels the tale of a destitute man looking for a warm place to spend the night.
I had the great opportunity to talk to John Fallon about writing and making “The Shelter”. He gives some pretty cool insight into the film business, fame gained and lost, and what inspires him to write and direct a very diverse and original body of work.
