Actress-producer-director Jennifer Blanc-Biehn will begin filming her second directorial feature, upcoming full-length horror thriller, THE GIRL. Filming will begin Thursday, August 29, and will conclude on Tuesday, September 3, in Topanga, California. Press and media outlets are welcome to visit the set during production.
THE GIRL is a harrowing tale of a kidnapped girl who is rescued by a young boy, and in return is compelled to save him from the horrors that lie in his home.

Executive producer and investor Lony Ruhmann will again collaborate on the project with his ideas and creative vision along with Blanc-Biehn on THE GIRL, which will star Evie Louise Thompson (The Call) in the title role. Other notable stars joining the talented cast are Michael Biehn (Terminator), Tia Carrere (True Lies), Dana Daurey (Among Friends), Nick Nicholson (Hidden in the Woods), Raven Carrell, Jenise Blanc, Lorraine Ziff (Among Friends), Tanya Newobould (Among Friends), and Hallie Jordan (To the The Bridge/ Producer at Blanc Biehn productions of the upcoming The Art of Perception, Hidden in the Woods, and The Girl as well) and Tristan DeVan as Tommy.
The production team under Blanc/Biehn Productions and executive producer Lony Ruhmann includes Mark Burnham, Kate Rees Davies, Tony Sneggoff, Hallie Jordan, Jenise Blanc, and composition will be handled by Randy Chance (The Night Visitor, Treachery).
Award winning director of photography, Steve Romano, will use the latest Sony 4K Technology and Panavision Primo Lenses.

Jennifer Blanc-Biehn was born and raised in New York City, attended the Professional Children’s School and has been acting consistently since she was a little girl. At the tender age of 13, Jennifer was on Broadway in Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs working alongside Jonathan Silverman, Fisher Stevens and Robert Sean Leonard. She’s worked on Broadway and appeared in dozens of television shows and movies over the past thirty years and recently founded her own company, Blanc/Biehn Productions, with her husband actor Michael Biehn. They currently have ten films in the pipeline for 2013-2014.and she has a new talk show on the stream.tv called scared stiff.

Blanc Biehn Productions is the partnership of famed actors Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn.
