The 317 pounds Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller, 22-0-1, 19 KO’s, had no problem destroying the 41-year-old former light heavyweight champion, Tomasz Adamek, 53-6, 31 KO’s, hunting him for a round and pummeling him in the second. Adamek had no shot from the minute this fight was signed and doesn’t do much for Miller outside of just adding another knockout to his record. Adamek would be hurt in the first round from a body shot and knocked out from a barrage of punches in the second.
Adamek, to his credit, moved and tried to work the body to wear down the opponent who outweighed him by 90 pounds, but he could not impact Miller in any way. This was just a matter of time and a hand-picked opponent that did his job. He got knocked out in spectacular fashion and that’s what the Miller team wants as they head into a potential title shot against Anthony Joshua.
