Heavyweight prospect, Jared Anderson, 4-0, 4 KO’s, is next up, facing Johnnie Langston, 8-3, 3 KO’s, in a six round bout. Langston has not broken a sweat, standing dry in the ring. That’s not good considering that Anderson has scored all 3 of his wins within a round.
Langston makes it through the first round and is very game. He is willing to exchange and we have a fight on our hands, even though Anderson is getting the better of it. In the second round, Langston is not dealing with the pressure well. He is tired and ready to fold. This is not going much longer.
In round 3, a head butt leads to a break and Langston wants to quit. A barrage of punches ends the fight in round 3 over an exhausted and beaten fighter that didn’t want to be in the ring to begin with. Anderson can now move on to bigger and better things.
