I came across How Did This Get Made when my husband played the Mac & Me episode. It was hilarious. Brilliant comedians Paul Scheer, Miss June Diane Raphael and Jason Mantzoukas put together this podcast which looks at movies that are unintentionally hilarious, bizarre, or over-the-top. Generally they will have an equally funny guest on the show. Their witty, sarcastic and insightful repartee can keep me laughing long after the podcast is over.Movies like All About Steve, Old Dogs, and Superman III are torn apart but with an appreciation of the insanity that makes it worth watching.
For years, people have loved bad movies. Films like Troll 2, and Rocky Horror Picture Show (I’m a raging fan of RHPS) have fans getting together to throw bashes to watch these productions and laugh at the oddness of it all. How Did This Get this Made is just like that except with people much funnier.
