AEW’s Fyter Fest, night two, beings immediately with a tag team match between the defending tag team champions, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega, taking on Private Party with Matt Hardy as an advisor of sorts. Where is Broken Matt?!!! He needs to come back!
Dr. Britt Baker is in attendance and she is always great to have aboard, even if she’s stuck in her wheelchair. She is not happy about the conspiracy against her in AEW that is keeping her from the title.
Omega starts off aggressively on Marq Quen and Page is still riding the fine line between heel and face. It’s great. Private Party starts using their speed advantage to get some momentum going, but the strength of Page is the dominant factor thus far.
Isaiah Cassidy landed a great springboard move to the outside, but Omega catches him on the inside with a good counter. As always, Private Party keeps fighting on and with the support of Hardy, they seem just a step better than usual, but they are facing the undefeated champs and they won’t lose easily.
Omega is laying in the chops on both members of Private Party and Page powerbombs Cassidy on top of Quen to get a near fall. Private Party get the advantage again and Hardy is cheering them on. Quen lands a shooting star press for a near fall, broken up by Omega. This is a great match!
Page counters gin and juice with a power bomb from the top rope. The Last Call leads to a 3 count for the champions as they hold onto the titles. Who can stop this team?!
