AEW just started really pushing the Varsity Blondes and with good reason. Brian Pillman, JR., and Griff Garrison are very good young talent and will probably be doing some big things in the near future. FTR, the former champions, are looking to get back on track and regain their titles soon, but the younger and quicker team takes the early momentum.
FTR withstands the early onslaught to get control and end the match with their finisher to get the 3 count. Once FTR got the control, it was over.
