Boxing is back on DAZN, finally. It’s been sorely missed. Evan Sanchez, 8-0, 6 KO’s, takes on Issouf Kinda, 18-5, 7 KO’s, in a welterweight six round bout to open up the night. As with most events these days, there are no fans in attendance.
Sanchez starts off aggressively and lands a couple of good right hooks as Kinda moves and tries to pick his spots. Sanchez looks much larger than his opponent. In the second round, Kinda landed some good shots while on the move, but not enough to win the round. Sanchez is still winning with his stalking and strength, but not overwhelming Kinda.
The third round was a better round for Sanchez as he started to find the body of Kinda. He is just too strong for the smaller man. A right hook to the head in round four drops Kinda, but he claims it was in the back of the head. That’s four rounds in a row for Sanchez. It’s a wipeout.
Kinda is just going through the motions. He’s not trying to win the fight. He is just moving around and waiting for the final bell. It’s 5-0 in rounds for the undefeated prospect in a very dominant affair.
Sanchez is coming out in the last round looking for a knockout. The round goes without incident or change. It’s an easy win for the undefeated welterweight via unanimous decision by scores of 59-54, 58-55 and 60-53.
