The Film Detective will be releasing EEGAH, a remarkably bad film from 1962, on November 26th, but is there any other film for the MST3K to restore and bring to the people. EEGAH is a product of the 1960s, with the impact of the beach films and rock and roll that was so popular at the time and we get to see a huge caveman that has somehow survived and kidnaps a girl in California, leading to a big shootout.
EEGAH has become one of those movies that are so bad they’re good and with the addition of the MST3K crew, it becomes that much more enjoyable. The restoration is very good. I’ve seen other versions of this film and this is the one to own. I’m very impressed with what they were able to do with the original print and how great it looks.
The appreciation of this film has grown over the years, which led to the first time that the MST3K group took interest in 1993. Now, it’s back again in the best way and you will find yourself laughing and seeing the love that went into the production and into this new restored release.
On top of the film, there are plenty of cool extras. This is a party movie that you’ll be showing your friends and might even enjoy more with a drink or two. You’ll have to pick it up soon and you can pre-order it now because the copies are limited.
With only 1,500 Blu-rays available, fans can secure a copy before they go extinct by pre-ordering now at:
