Super middleweight, Edgar Berlanga, 15-0, 15 KO’s, lived up to expectations. He is now 15-0 with all 15 KO’s coming in the very first round. The latest was a KO of Lanell Bellows, 20-6-3, 13 KO’s, a fighter that had never been stopped.
From the opening bell, Bellows tried to jab and move, but Berlanga is so heavy-handed that it could have ended any time. A left hook put Bellows in trouble and another left hook convinced the referee to stop it and rescue the wobbly and cut up Bellows. Berlanga is somebody to watch.
