The highly acclaimed HBO Original Drama DUNE: PROPHECY: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON has just hit 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD courtesy of Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, featuring all six episodes along with some great bonus material.
The box art is an immediate draw, even if you don’t know the series and the presentation is cinematic and sharp. This is a show that focuses on bringing a very eye-catching world and brings an amazing cast, including Emily Watson.
The story brings the viewer into world after world with stunning visuals. The slow burn approach to the storytelling provides a great payoff with every scene bleeding into the next. Inspired by the novel SISTERHOOD OF DUNE, the show brings the storyline closely.
DUNE: PROPHECY: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON is a great addition and expansion to the original storyline. The sci-fi drama brings great visuals and great performances. I really enjoyed the series but I was more impressed with the epic presentation and on 4K UHD, it looked stunning. It’s a definite must own for any fans of the DUNE series.
