Featherweight Duke Ragan, 3-0, 1 KO, used his superior skill to control and outpoint the brawling Sebastian Gutierrez, 1-1, 1 KO, by unanimous decision by scores of 40-35 across the board.
In round two, Ragan would land a right hand that would make Gutierrez’s glove touch the canvas. It was not a huge shot but it was a knockdown. In the third and fourth round, Ragan easily controlled the action with his jab and defense. This was a stylistic mismatch and Ragan easily cruised to a unanimous decision win.
