The HBO hit series CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, created by comedian Larry David, has had a great run and now the eleventh season is available on DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment with 10 episodes and some cool added bonus features.
The humor of the show continues in this season as it follows Larry throughout. The consistency of the comedic pacing is great and the show has evolved somewhat. Larry has gotten older and that has been used as part of the focus of this season and it works well.
As always, the cast of characters that Larry interacts with keeps the show moving forward. Larry David knows how to build a world that is real enough to feel legitimate but zany enough to entertain. He has not lost any steam after all these years.
CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM: THE COMPLETE ELEVENTH SEASON is very funny and, if you enjoy the show, you won’t be disappointed here. I really enjoyed it.
