Last week, Cody Rhodes regained the TNT Title in a dog collar match with the leader of the Dark Order, Mr. Brodie Lee. It was a brutal match and Cody went through hell to get that belt around his waist again. Now, it’s business as usual for him as he starts up his consistent defenses. This time, he is facing Orange Cassidy and it should be interesting.
Cassidy has accomplished one thing in AEW that Cody has not. He defeated Chris Jericho. Other than that side note, Cody has a lot of advantage going into this. He has the experience and momentum and probably won’t drop the title in his first defense. Look for Cody to have a great match with Cassidy and to find the Crossroads to win the match.
