This Wednesday, the TNT Champion, Cody Rhodes, will be defending his title against his toughest challenger as he faces Jake Hager of the Inner Circle. The two had a clash at the press conference, ending with Jake’s wife throwing a drink into Cody’s eyes.
Hager has had one other title opportunity in a losing effort to AEW heavyweight champion, Jon Moxley. He plans to redeem himself with a title-winning effort against Cody. It could go either way. Cody might be on the verge of turning heel and he might use a heel tactic to hold onto his title here. This first main event of Fyter Fest week one should be great fun.
