The Knight of Pentacles
The Knight of Pentacles is the most pragmatic knight in the tarot. In a traditional deck, the illustration depicts a man in shining armor upon his calm black horse, holding his pentacle carefully as he moves mindfully on his way. He’s not charging ahead like the Knight of Swords, rearing forward like the Knight of Wands or even relying on his creative and emotional sides to get where he’s going like the Knight of Cups.
Instead, The Knight of Pentacles is methodical. The card signifies one with a strategic plan or list of necessary goals that is being following by the letter. You are one to ensure every ‘t’ is crossed and every ‘i’ is dotted. Whereas others may think you are too rigid in your way of thinking, you are effective and the way in which you are maneuvering makes certain you will be a success.
Despite being no nonsense regarding this specific outline, that isn’t to say you can’t let your hair down. You do. You know how to have fun and be relaxed. When the time and place are right, you are even known to be the life of the party. This is why your approach to this specific goal receives some backlash. People want you to always be “ON” and having fun, but you understand when it’s time to get to business and take things seriously.
There are those closest to you who appreciate this quality, but other acquaintances, family and friends want none of it. They simply want the party version of you on all the time. If some around you criticizes the serious tone you take with this aspect of your life, let them. They don’t understand it and have a bit of the green eyed monster within them.

You know what you need to do. Don’t get dragged into drama, gossip and don’t put the needs of others over your own. Your practical and sensible side has taken over for a reason. It needs to be in charge right now to get you where you need to go, so just listen to that voice in your head and keep focused on crossing that finish line.
