The World
In a traditional tarot deck, THE WORLD shows a naked woman with only a long thin piece of fabric wrapped around her. She delicately holds a magic wand in each of her hands as she hovers between the sky and land. Floating in the middle of a wreath, she is surrounded by an angel and eagle above and a bull and a lion below.
She is powerful and in charge. The beasts, bird and spiritual being are all approving and even joyous. They are proud of her accomplishments, her strength, her perseverance, her successes and all the knowledge that she has come to possess.
She is nude because she is open and honest and wrapped because she is humble and gracious. She dances in between the spiritual world and the grounded marvelously and can adapt to any environment. More than that, both are intricately a part of her.
She holds on to the wands because of her belief in magic, but allows them to dance in her fingertips as she knows the arts are delicate and need a nurturing touch to properly execute positivity. She isn’t forceful or domineering in her approach. Instead, she’s a listener, a lover, a soft soul and is ruled by a sensitive heart and a practical mind. This way of life has brought her full circle, represented by the wreath. She is a complete woman now. She has found balance, peace and has attained wisdom by following her intuitive nature and female instincts. She has perfected the circle of life and can handle all that comes her way.
The World card can signify a man or woman, but the energy you are currently tapping into is all female. Gone is the masculine pride or testosteronic need for physical violence or loud conflict. Instead, you are a master of the mind. You use prowess, cunning, intelligence and stamina to resolve issues. You have patience and a long memory. If you need to battle with a work rival or a friend-turned-foe, you utilize methods both real world and mystical, but in a manner where your hands and heart stay clean. These practices keep you safe and as you utilize them only when faced with the dubious and cruel, your energy remains positive and your successes continue.
Right now, you are in a stage where you can take a deep breath and relax. Whichever matter was of the biggest concern (love, business or finances, etc) things are working out. It may have been slow getting there, but you have done the work and succeeded. Your body and mind may have to take a minute to get accustomed to your newfound wholeness. You may feel the anxiety, depression or fears that have surrounded you prior to this evolution. Think of that as a spiritual PTSD. It’s going to take some time to get used to this new world, but it’s a glorious one. Enjoy it.
