I Am a Rain Dog – Official Trailer from Christopher Di Nunzio on Vimeo.

I first became familiar with the work of Christopher Di Nunzio with his film “LIVESTOCK”, a tremendous film with great atmosphere.  He would recently show his great improvements in his game with DELUSION and has not shot a short film called “I AM A RAIN DOG”, and it once again shows another step forward and also shows the diversity in the game of Di Nunzio.

Written by Kris Salvi, I AM RAIN DOG surrounds a man with a problem that hires an expert to assist.  Salvi does a very good job with the dialogue and the entire atmosphere is intriguing.  There is a mystery to this and the conversations that go on in this short film are interesting and flow well.  The cast of Fiore Leo, Kris Salvi and Justin Thibault do very good in their roles and the film, although only 11 minutes, has substance and I found it fly by really quickly, which is always a compliment to the makers of the film.

I AM RAIN DOG is well worth a watch and being a follower of the career of Di Nunzio, I’m really interested in seeing what he has in store after this as well.  He continues to grow in the field and I was really impressed with his work here. I highly recommend it.
