FTR makes a statement about their defeat to the Young Bucks and their plan to regain the belts.
SCU comes to the ring and it’s great to see Christopher Daniels so jovial again. He’s hilarious. Frankie Kazarian is his partner of choice tonight in the SCU trio as they take on Chris Jericho and Jake Hager of the Inner Circle. The entire Inner Circle are there tonight and they are an imposing group with the inclusion of MJF and Wardlow.
The Inner Circle seems to have gelled since their return from Las Vegas. Daniels is wearing a shirt tonight. He may have put on the quarantine fifteen, but it’s not slowing him down.
Jericho and Hager are looking for tag team gold and SCU were the first team to hold the titles and they held them for quite a while before Hangman Page and Kenny Omega won them. Jericho and Hager are looking to make a statement by beating former champions.
Hager is just a monster. He is owning this match as the Inner Circle watches on from ringside with delight. Right when Daniels gets some momentum, Santana trips him and he falls into a power slam by Hager and then tossed out of the ring, where the Inner Circle take turns stomping him down.
Kazarian got some damage in on the Inner Circle outside the ring, including a scary fall on Ortiz, but he seems unhurt, thankfully. Daniels lands the Flat Liner and landed a moonsault on Hager, leading to a near fall.
MJF punches Daniels with the ring, followed by the Judas Effect and pin on Daniels. The bigger version of the Inner Circle has brought new life to it. MJF was laughing and pointing at a destroyed Daniels only to get punched in the face by Kazarian. MJF was hilarious. Watching him point and laugh was awesome.
Kip Sabian and Miro were introducing their new segment about video games when Orange Cassidy walked in and shut off the PS5, prompting Miro to scream “my wife gave me that” and chase him out. Miro is pure gold. As they battle the Best Friends outside, Miro grabs the cameraman and looks right into the camera and screams “get out of my way!” It was so funny.
