The Inner Circle and Best Friends are banned from ringside and we have a one on one main event between former champion, Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy. This is going to be awesome. Jericho won their first match, but Cassidy has gotten under his skin of late and he could have the psychological edge.
It’s an immediate brawl and Cassidy is taking this very seriously. All of the silliness that we are accustomed to is not present. This is a focused Cassidy looking to hurt and defeat Jericho.
It’s all Cassidy, but Jericho counters the superman punch to get the momentum. The power of Jericho is the biggest factor right now. He is taunting Cassidy but is met with a great super kick and clothesline. This is high drama on Dynamite.
Cassidy is now working on Jericho’s leg, but we get the Walls of Jericho. Cassidy is in severe pain and turns the Walls into a small package for a near fall. Cassidy puts an ankle lock on Jericho but it’s reversed.
A Code Breaker by Jericho gets a near fall. Cassidy will not give up. Jericho takes the bat and asks the referee to turn his back so he can hit Cassidy, but it doesn’t happen. Cassidy now has the edge and is going for the win and lands the superman punch! The Inner Circle comes out. Hager slams down Cassidy, but he amazingly kicks out! The plan didn’t work!
Cassidy pulls a huge upset! He pinned Chris Jericho in a reversal to the Judas Effect! That was awesome!!!!!
