Call The Wolf are premiering their music video for “Black Moon” exclusively today via V13. Watch HERE. The video was directed by Ryan Glover and shot in Toronto over the course of three days. “‘Black Moon’ is one of our songs on the heavier side, and we all felt it would make for a cool first single,” elaborates the band’s frontman and guitarist, Preston Moore. “Ryan really managed to capture the feeling of the song, while complimenting the energy of the band’s performance.” “Black Moon” is drawn from the band’s self-titled debut album, released in November 2019. Call The Wolf (Preston Moore – vocals/guitars, Chris Moleirinho – guitars, Andrew Stricko – drums) are an alternative rock band from Toronto, Ontario. After forming in 2017, the band released a debut EP, Little Golden, with the help of producer, Anton Delost. The EP blends influences of post-hardcore, punk and alternative rock into a unique, modern rock sound.
In 2019, after two years of playing shows and writing new material, Call The Wolf traveled to The Panda Studios in California to record their self-titled debut album with producer and mixer Sam Pura (State Champs, The Story So Far, The Dangerous Summer). Featuring the single “Black Moon”, the 10-song album is a promising effort from the burgeoning rock band influenced by like-minded acts such as Thrice, Can’t Swim and Teenage Wrist.
