Bryan Danielson survived the interesting challenge of Timothy Thatcher with a knee strike 3 count victory, but it wasn’t an easy match and Thatcher made it feel like a real brawl. Both wresters are hard-hitting and present a more real-feeling style.
Despite knowing that Danielson was going to win because he’s got that main event spot with MJF for gold, I began to have my doubts as Thatcher applied his offense. This was a really great match.
When the referee was taken out, MJF came down and was chased off by Konosuke Takeshita. I DO NOT get the push for Takeshita. He’s terrible. It took me right out of the match and now he’s paired with MJF next week on Dynamite. What a shit way to end a great match.
