Here we go with an emotional night of tribute to the great Brodie Lee.  The entire roster is standing on the stage and they are doing the 10 count with the bell for the great one.  It is so hard to believe that this has happened.    His young song, Brodie, JR., and other son are also there.   It’s so sad.  I can’t imagine what a son goes through losing a father like this.

We get Jon Moxley talking about his memories.  He brings up their long road throughout the best of times and the worst of times.  Moxley is giving a great speech.  He ended with “I love you brother and I will never forget you.

THE YOUNG BUCKS & COLT CABANA VS. MATT HARDY & PRIVATE PARTY

We begin the official matches with the six man tag with Matt Hardy and Private Party taking on the Young Bucks and Colt Cabana of the Dark Order.  The Bucks come out in Brodie Lee T shirts.  The Dark Order comes out in solidarity and Cabana is in tears already.  This is a tough night.  It’s easy to sit home and feel sad for the loss, but you get a real feel for what Brodie meant when you see how a guy like Cabana is impacted.

Chris Jericho is on commentary and he’s trying to keep it as light as he can but it’s not easy.  Matt Jackson lands the Twist of Fate on Matt Hardy and Cabana gets in and is doing great.  Cabana lands the flying apple and tries the lariat that Brodie Lee used.

Matt Hardy has a chair but Private Party won’t cheat to win.  Hardy is not happy.  Cabana gets the pin fall and rightfully so.  It was great to see him win.  Brodie, JR., is in the audience and dressed just like his dad.  It is awesome.

EDDIE KINGSTON, BUTCHER & BLADE VS. LANCE ARCHER, EVIL UNO & STU GRAYSON

Darby Allin reflects back to his first meeting with Brodie Lee.  He talks about how selfless Brodie was.

Evil Uno is there along with Stu Grayson and Lance Archer, dressed in Luke Harper gear.  Eddie Kingston comes to the ring and breaks down a little as he screams his love for him.  This is a very emotional night as expected.     You just feel the community of pro wrestling.  Lance Archer screaming “this is for Brodie Lee” while breaking down hits hard.

Lance Archer is such a force and needs to have a title around his waist sooner than later.  Uno and Grayson land the Fatality to get the 1-2-3.  The trio beats down Eddie Kingston and then Jake “The Snake” Roberts lands his short arm clothesline.

We get some more very emotional tributes to the man.  It’s very difficult to watch, but this is truly a great tribute to Brodie.

MJF, SANTANA & ORTIZ VS. HANGMAN PAGE, JOHN SILVER & ALEX REYNOLDS

Hangman Page, John Silver and Alex Reynolds come down to the ring with the rest of the Dark Order.  MJF comes out with Santana and Ortiz and is dressed in the Puerto Rican gear to show that he’s part of the team.

John Silver is dressed in the gear that Brodie Lee purchased for him.  MJF yells at Brodie’s son, showing how much of a great heel he is.  Schiavone notes that MJF is the “biggest asshole” in the world.  It was very funny.

John Silver is showing how great he is and the crowd is so into this.   Wardlow interferes but Erick Rowan takes him out!  Rowan was the former tag team partner of Brodie’s in WWE.  Silver lands Brodie Lee’s finisher on Ortiz to get the 3 count and the group gathers in the ring to reflect.  Brodie’s son also got his shot in on MJF with the kendo stick.

ANNA JAY & TAY CONTI VS. DR. BRITT BAKER & PENELOPE FORD

Anna Jay and Tay Conti reunite to take on Dr. Britt Baker and Penelope Ford.  Baker takes early control of the match over Anna Jay.  Baker is always amusing and the best heel in all of wrestling.  Anna Jay is very emotional as she points to the heavens to Brodie.

There is a great amount of talent with the ladies in AEW.  Anna Jay gets the win with the sleeper hold on Penelope Ford.

Britt Baker starts complaining about the result but barely gets any words out before Thunder Rosa attacks.  These two are on a collision course.

CODY RHODES, ORANGE CASSIDY & 10 VS. BRIAN CAGE, RICKY STARKS & POWERHOUSE HOBBS (TEAM TAZ)

This match was picked by Brodie Lee, JR., with his favorite 3 wrestlers in Cody Rhodes, Orange Cassidy and 10 taking on Team Taz.  Orange Cassidy comes down to greet Brodie’s son.  Cody comes to the ring with Arn Anderson.

10 is getting a lot of the Brodie moves in.  The trio gets the victory with 10 getting the 3 count on Starks.  What a great tribute to Brodie Lee.  The celebration of the good guys is quickly interrupted by Team Taz, but the lights went out and it prompts Darby Allin to come down to the ring.  The lights go out again and Sting appears and come down together to the ring.

I love Starks overreacting to the fake snow.  Starks is a future big star.

We end the show with a final tribute to the leader of the Dark Order, Brodie Lee.  Scared Stiff says goodbye as well to a great talent that was taken way before his time but accomplished so much in his small stint in AEW.  R.I.P. Brodie Lee.
