Tully Blanchard is going off on Shawn Spears and now has something for him. He brought the “missing piece.” Spears is presented with a fingerless glove and he puts it on as Blanchard nods. Blanchard is tremendous and Spears has a lot of potential to be a big time player in AEW.
We get a recap of the Mike Tyson-Chris Jericho feud, which left Jericho screaming “TYSON”. I love Jericho.
Brian Cage is next up to take on Shawn Dean in another squash match. Taz watches on and laughs maniacally as Cage destroys his overmatched foe. Taz has found his calling as the manager of Cage. I could watch him maniacally laugh all day.
After a buckle bomb, a drill claw gets the 1-2-3 in quick fashion. Cage is ready for Jon Moxley and is a major threat to the championship. Taz grabbed the microphone and is killing it. As Taz insults Moxley, the AEW champion comes out to the ring. He is taking on all comers and he is not afraid of the big man.
Moxley comes down with a smirk. He grabs the microphone and enters the ring, despite the warnings from Taz. Moxley notes that war makes him happy. He tells Cage that he’s in over his head. This is going to be a great match at Fighter Fest.
