Super middleweight Anthony Sims, JR., 17-0, 16 KO’s, had no issue beating up and stopping Colby Courter, 13-13, 10 KO’s, in the second round. In the first round, Sims, JR., beat Courter to the body and dropped him with a right uppercut to the body. He survived the round, but would not make it that far into the second. Sims, JR., opened up and it didn’t take long as Courter was put down twice, prompting the referee to stop this mismatch. This fight was such an embarrassing mismatch that the announcer didn’t even mention the record of Courter, only noting that he was a “25 fight veteran”. I guess that’s one way to look at it, but it didn’t make him a better fighter.
