Anderson Silva, 2-1, 1 KO, took on Tito Ortiz last night on Triller in the co-main event of the Holyfield-Belfort match. The two UFC stars came together in another sport but there was a major difference. This wasn’t Silva’s first dance. He just recently upset former world champion, Julio Cesar Chavez, JR. He did well in MMA but he was a boxer as well, something Ortiz was not.
In the opening round, Ortiz attacked and threw punches without a lot of steam on them. He just began winging shots and Silva dodged most of them and waited for the chance to return, which came with a right hook in round one. A couple other shots dropped Ortiz onto the floor and away from consciousness. Silva knocked him cold and hardly broke a sweat.
