What bullshit you see when you see judges at a Golden Boy boxing card. Alexis Rocha, 16-0, 10 KO’s, won a unanimous decision over the game, Brad Solomon, 28-3, 9 KO’s, by unanimous decision by ridiculous scores of 100-89, 99-90 and 97-92.
The Golden Boy boxers DO NOT LOSE if it goes to the cards. It is fair to say that Rocha may have won the fight, but to give him every round screams of corruption and is an example of why people have the sport of boxing.
From the opening round, this was a competitive fight and Solomon appeared to have the edge going into the final round. Rocha scored a knockdown in the final round to perhaps save the fight, but when the decision was announced, it’s easy to see that the cards were filled out before the fight occurred. Rocha won and boxing lost yet again. Solomon could not have won this fight if Rocha didn’t throw one punch the entire fight. The judges need to be investigated.
