The sad news came in that Jeopardy host, Alex Trebek, has died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. His battle is well-documented and the audience went through it with him. At no time did Trebek lose his positive nature and continued his job as the host for as long as he could.
Trebek always seemed like the most genuine of the game show hosts and, thankfully, he had one big goodbye when James Holzhauer had an incredible run and a primetime battle against Ken Jennings.
The world will miss Trebek and his shoes are mighty big to fill. It’s going to be hard to find a new host for a show that is so tied to Jeopardy. Rest in Peace Alex.
