After the defeat to the AEW women’s champ, Hikaru Shida, the NWA champion, Thunder Rosa defends her title against Ivelisse. It’s nice to see a partnership between AEW and NWA with the potential to exchange stars and showcase others.
Thunder Rosa cannot have a bad match and this is no exception. Rosa is so explosive in the ring but Ivelisse is holding her own.
Rosa takes full control and her offense is amazing. I hope her stay at AEW is lengthy. She is tremendous. She lands a Death Valley Driver to get a near fall. Ivelisse gets a near fall but Rosa is hard to keep down.
A Tombstone Pile Driver leads to a 3 count for Rosa. Diamante attacks Rosa. Shida comes in and helps Rosa.
