The British middleweight champion and now the WBC silver middleweight champion, Liam Williams, 21-2-1, 16 KO’s, came out with a purpose and was able to dominate and knock out Kareem Achour, 27-6-3, 4 KO’s, in two rounds.
In the first round, Williams came out using jab-right hand combo with regularity to find the range. In the second round, a pulverizing right hand would shake up Achour. A combination of hooks would drop him. He got up but a left hook would put him down again and the referee would call the fight. Williams is looking for a fight with GGG and made a statement today.
