Y’all know that I call it like I see it and I was very impressed walking out of the cinema after watching THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA. It was good. Damn good. I like this La Llorona. She’s on a mission and I love a lady on a mission. When I’m in Vegas, I like those gals that come up and say “Hi James.” You know what I say? I say hi right back. I don’t use cheesy lines people.
I just got to catch THE HAUNTING OF LA LLORONA, a film directed by Dennis Devine, produced by David Sterling with the Executive Producer, Gregory Hatanaka and even my boy, Geno McGahee, wrote this thing. I went into it with an open mind though. I call it the way I see it and this film was tremendous with some great acting from Orlando McNary, Kaylin Zerene, Diana Acevedo and Tyler Coleman.
The film follows Cassandra, a girl with a hubby that is on the road in one of those semis and she finds a friend in Tiffany and then the shit really goes down. La Llorona possesses Cassandra and now Tiffany and a priest, Father Gomez, must try to fight this demon off, which leads to a big time showdown.
This is one of those films that you have to see. You should actually check out THE CURSE OF LA LLORNA and THE HAUNTING OF LA LLORONA. They are both great flicks about this legend man. Check it out on Amazon Prime for free now. It’s my pick of the week by miles man.
